A year was once held in the hand — not as a grid of boxes, but as marks cut in wood. The Primstav Birth-Year Tablet sets a single birth date inside a quiet, primstav-inspired annual rhythm: a summer side and a winter side, with the day itself marked in aged bronze.
The date is rendered in the Fornvegr symbolic Elder Futhark digit cipher, and the name in our documented rune transliteration — the same engine behind every Fornvegr piece, so the runes never drift.

Primstav-inspired, not a reproduction of a historical primstav. The traditional Norwegian calendar stick marked ordinary days, feast days and the summer/winter turns (summer side from 14 April, winter from 14 October). Fornvegr renders dates using a symbolic Elder Futhark digit cipher; Elder Futhark had no numerals — this convention is ours.
